Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Practice

Halima Bukola GIWA, is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Ilorin with almost ten years university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

She is the serving Head of Department of Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice. Her areas of research interest cover Pharmacotherapeutics, Pharmaceutical care, Pharmacoeconomics, Health Related Quality of Life Studies, Health Economics, Health Technology Assessment, Pharmaceutical/ Health Systems Research, Drug and Health Policy Research.

She has to her credit over twenty publications in reputable journals. She has successfully supervised 13 Undergraduate and 6 Masters dissertations. Dr (Mrs) GIWA is a member of many professional bodies within and outside Nigeria.

Qualifications

Ph.D in Pharmacoeconomics & Pharmaceutical Management (Tehran University of Medical Sciences)
M.Sc in Clinical Pharmacy (University of Lagos)
B. Pharm. (Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria)
