Prof (Mrs.) Bello Shakirat Iyabo

Shakirat Iyabo Bello is a Professor in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmacy Practice, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Ilorin over a decade of university teaching, research, and administrative experience.

She is the immediate Acting Head of the Department, past Sub-Dean of the faculty, past Sub-Chairman of the University Admission and Screening Committee, and former Sub-Chairman of the University Quality Assurance Unit. Bello’s areas of research interest are pharmacotherapy of infectious diseases and clinical care.

She has several research articles in reputable journals. She has supervised Masters Dissertations. She was awarded a grant from the University for her Ph.D. programme.
